The world had changed. It had grown from Eden into a shadow of hell. The humans had climbed to the pinnacle of their culture, and there, at the peak of Babylon, they had unleashed... what? What had happened that had turned the world into this? What had happened that had sent the vampires, gods among men, into the hiding within the shadows of humanity? And what had happened to cause the fall of mankind's so-called 'Golden Age'?
Following the scent of it’s the cursed blood, ur-Shulgi stood now outside of one the ‘homes’ of the Cinites. Vampires, the humans had called them. A word synonymous with a curse to the mind of ur-Shulgi. And yet, its own kind, the Children of Nod, Siblings of the Blood, had accepted the word. They had allowed this new name to define them. And the one who resided within this particular dwelling was no different. It could feel that he had been here, but how long ago, it could not tell. Regardless, ur-Shulgi sought to feed and it would not be turned aside. Centuries had past since it had walked the surface of the world. The time for slumber was past. Now was the time for blood.
Through dreams, ur-Shulgi had found this 'vampire'. It was in these dreams that the existence of this domain, within the territory of the magi Horde, had been shown to it. Unfortunately for the cinite that resided here, it was also in the dreams that ur-Shulgi learned of the creature’s faith and worship of the human ‘Gog.’ Many things would happen tonight. The need for blood would be sated in ur-Shulgi, the will of its sire, the Fallen, would be sated, and the purge of the worshipers of Gog would begin.
